INconRES Incertidumbre, confianza y responsabilidad. Claves ético-epistemológicas de las nuevas dinámicas sociales en la era digital (PID2020-117219GB-I00)
Uncertainty, trust and responsibility are key factors for communication, knowledge and the common life in society. A certain balance between them is crucial to face the main challenges of today's societies (pandemics, climate change, hybrid wars, etc.). From a double epistemological and ethical perspective, the project analyzes the factors that disturb this balance, alter the patterns of rationality and common sense, and contribute to the rise of anti-democratic and anti-scientific positions. The socio-political and cultural implications of these dynamics are explored, with special attention to the impact of the Internet and digital technologies.
